Review: Men's Manual

This article is based on personal judgement and may or may not match everyone opinons about it, but nonetheless, I still hope you guys have a great time reading it.

This movie is a typically Korean movie, which means it is a bit far from reality but if you are a romantic at heart, you would still enjoy it with no problem.

The movie's poster
So the movie is about a girl, Choi Bo-na (played by Lee Si-young) who is an assistant manager, whose colleagues are predominantly male, and as a badly dressed, low maintenance women, she struggle with ways to communicate to almost everyone around her. They don't support nor respect her.
Lee Bo-na's original look
One day the team went to the beach to shoot a commercial and she was left there, because she fell asleep at the beach and nobody care about her enough to go look for her. However, she found vendor that only only sell irregular types of book, and as you guess, she bought a series of books called 'Men’s Manual', which teach her how to behave around men, i.e, how to talk to them, how to act, what to say in certain situations.
The strange book stall
At first she thought she was scammed but after trying out the trick that was shown to her for a while, things worked. She got to shoot her own commercial, got to direct her own movie and most importantly, she found the men of her dream, Lee Seung-jae (played by Oh Jung-se).

As you may see, there are a lot of plot holes in this movie however, it still is a great time-killer for your spare time or when you want to blow off some steam. Lee Si-young acting is good and Oh Jung-se done a decent job in portraying his character.

I do recommend this movie to anyone who are looking for a cute & funny drama to watch when bored but not for anyone who prefer Oscar level or profound, meaningful film. But whatever ways it is, I hope that you will enjoy the movie as well as this review.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
